The project proposes the creation of housing in different chronologies in the Poblado de Absorción B of Alejandro de la Sota's Fuencarral neighbourhood.
Through a collaborative approach, different agents (public, private, cooperative, informal) are assigned to intervene in the community.
The proposal was conceived in the framework of the year 2007, considering the role of the public agent.

At that time, the neighbourhood was in the midst of a redevelopment process, motivated by the desire of the residents to replace the old dwellings of the defunct Obra Sindical del Hogar with new buildings.
However, at that time and against the backdrop of the financial crisis, these works were paralysed due to a lack of resources, resulting in a disconnected and undeveloped space.

The proposal responds to the context and seeks to provide a solution to this empty island, generating an archipelago in which the pre-existing surrounding green islands are linked to the space to be intervened through a unitary piece, creating a productive system as a whole.

This seeks to generate diverse scenes to encourage more varied and complex community interrelationships between neighbours, giving the neighbourhood a solid and renewed identity.
