These proyects are link by the idea of bar-codes. Vertical stripes embeded in the structure of objects in the "Garden of Delights" may be found by linking significant elements. Detaching the stripes allows creating empty spaces which are meaningful in organizing the space and different functions.
The first project is a prission complex located at Peniche fortress (Portugal). Mass is lost as stores grow higher, from burried concrete at the bottom level towards a slim light cover.
The second project is an intevention on a ship located at the Peniche sea-shore. The code-bar scheme is replicated to allocate different relaxinf environments composed by swiming-pools and terraces.The structure is ruled by U-shaped forms (in section), treating u shapes as swimming-pools and inverted u shapes as transition terraces. It is devoted to the peaciful contemplation of the natural surroundings.
