BOIDS PROYECT
The proyect is based in the conviction that the current way of conceiving zoos is irresponsable and has no place in the future society.
Trying to redesign the zoo I arrived at the conclusion that I could represent a particular characteristic of the animal instead of the animal as a whole.
I've always been attracted by the organized and harmonic movement of birds' flocks. I wanted to represent this particular characteristic, detached from everything else the idea of a bird might represent.
This way, using the algorithm created by Craig Raynolds (BOIDS) , the building will contain a swarm of drones simulating the flocking behaviour of birds.
The building is design with a deliberate simplicity, this way, the organic movement of the drones is perfectly portrayed.
