A T M A D
Starting at the end, it is proposed for the beginning of the course to realize the inventory of a living place. This way, the different furniture is analyzed, being related to the measurement of the modulor, by Le Corbusier.
Then, it is intended to make a house of 250m3, based on a system. To do that, a 480m3 prism is proposed, in which, through a subtraction method, the required space is reached.
Finally, and starting from a previous group exercise to determine the origin of the project, a set of houses are carried out in the old space of Vicente Calderón, in Madrid. With more than 300, it is a tapestry of patio houses, recreating a horizontal project. In contrast, 4 towers of family homes are built, providing that verticality required in the project, and remembering to the MAT-building.
