ALTANNUR
Altannur is a project which leaks into the urban web gaps of the 'Albaicín', always without making contact with the existing mass, and enhacing its greenery. It will consist on a series of open floors held by a perimetral and rythmic wooden structure, which will strengthen due to its needs.
The word 'Altannur' comes from arabic, and means 'tank/pipe which transports water', focusing on the main and disturbing item of the building: an almost falling high-retained mass of water that completely changes the rythm of the enclosing wooden structure, and serves as a potential energy source.
