Antithesis
The course went through a reflection on the opposition of the ideas of lightness and heaviness. Working on different exercises not only about their physical conditions but also perceptive, symbolic and philosophical meaning.

Light. Of thin material or built and weighing less than average.

I started the first exercise folding a metallic mesh which led me to a starry shape. Using the repetition of this new unit to generate the residential complex. Which also grew up in height by adding a communication core attached to some of the stars. The final project ends up with five groups of starry plants integrated into a pedestrian path that allows access to all homes.

Heavy. Of great density, thick or substantial.

The trigger for the development of the project was the geometry of a pepper. Starting with an initial rectangular prism model I generated spaces inside by subtracting a new curve made of tangent circumferences. To end up displacing each floor in order to create a more challenging exterior. The habitable space extends around a continuous curved glass giving privacy to the user through two central pieces (bedroom and bathroom).

The antithesis comes when the light project becomes the heavy and vice versa. As a result of a contrast between two objects that depend on each other to stablish their condition.
