The project’s born from the need of creating public and nature spaces at the institutional complex of Ciudad Universitaria, where publics parks and green spots are characterized by its lack of planning. Taking Senda del Rey, a medieval path lost in time, as a land regulating element, Biofactoría de Semillas is set along the limit axis of the university area. The action overlaps croplands and investigation complex in agricultural science.

The project entails an investigation in in-grow buildings, that thanks to technology, are able to optimize production and keep the necessary conditions for the different species. This densifying operation of the cropland, allows to create a new public path that is set among the limits of the production area and the public line-park.

The new itinerary counts with aromatic species containers and other water devices that set a rhythm along the way and form the basic structure of the recovered open-air botanical garden.
