Clean Waters
The future of humanity lies within the planets most important and finite resource: water. However, right now our seas and ocean are suffering from an overflow of toxic waste and plastic products; it´s reached a point where we´ve created a new isle made entirely of garbage. To address this issue, and since we were given the hull of a ship to work with, I´ve decided to make a water treatment plant reusing this barge and making it eco-friendly, in an effort to reduce pollution as well as promote a more uplifting view of the future.

The ship consists of four different types of pipes: electric wires (orange), water conduit (green), ventilation system (red) and human transit (pink); as well as turbines, which transform the hydraulic energy into electric power.

First, the water enters the water conduit located at the bow of the ship. This toxic water goes through a set of grilles that trap the plastic, which is later thrown to a waste dump. It then passes through a sanding and degreasing station. And finally, the clean and unpolluted water gets pumped to the rest of the water conduits, to end up where it started.

The installation not only cleans the oceans, but also takes data on the body of water, to develop and ensure the best cleansing treatment.
