Crossed Housing
The project proposes a housing block designed for the city of Brasília, developed through the repetition of a cross-shaped geometric unit used as the generative element of the whole. Through its aggregation and combination, the system is able to grow in multiple directions and to organize both solid and void.
The repetition of this unit does not result in a compact mass, but in a porous structure in which intermediate spaces play a fundamental role. These voids become courtyards that articulate the project, ensuring natural light, cross ventilation, and a constant relationship between domestic and collective space.
The result is a clear and organized housing ensemble, where repetition creates rhythm and courtyards structure the life of the building.
