The project starts from the assemby of two previous case studies: Stirling’s Leicester University Engineering Building (industrial scale) and the Eames House in Los Angeles (domestic scale). A 10.000 sqm plot located in Detroit becomes the scene where both constructive systems join to create a high-density open building, capable of generating the support for a city by indefinitely replicating itself.

An investigation on usage levels, energy production, light control and other atmospheric conditions results on the proposed hybrid programmatic infill.
