Located in the unique landscape of the Barrancas de Castrejón y Calaña, in Toledo, and inspired by the architecture of Kazuyo Sejima, the project proposes a dwelling designed for a researcher temporarily residing in this privileged environment, along with an observation tower open to the public. Both structures integrate carefully into the terrain, adapting to the natural geometry of the ravines through organic shapes and fluid pathways.
Visitors access the complex through walkways that gently wind among the terrain's irregularities, leading to a tower that allows them to reach a panoramic platform situated 36 meters high. Meanwhile, the dwelling, designed with curved glass enclosures and white-painted steel elements, provides an intimate and luminous experience, enhancing the visual and sensory connection with the natural surroundings.
