hacia el Campo de Dalías
Intensive agriculture in southern Spain has given rise to the so-called 'Plastic Sea', a 33-thousand-hectare area entirely covered in plastic, making it one of the few human-made structures visible from space. Consequently, residential hubs have emerged to cover the influx of new workers. These are now engaged in a territorial struggle along their border with the Plastic Sea, competing for leisure and green spaces in an area where over 91% of the land is occupied by human activities.
