Hammam for the Tessaout Valley
The project was born from a contribution of ideas for the organization Acción Geoda in the realization of a Hammam for the inhabitants of the Tessaout Valley, Morocco. The project is divided into two stages, in which the first stage corresponds to a Hammam - Laundry designed with local materials, mainly adobe and stone, and integrated into the architecture of the place, which also proposes to enhance community life by providing public spaces in form of courtyards within the building and in the articulation of the site itself with the rest of the buildings. The second project is a Hammam that corresponds to a modular architecture responding to the idea of being transported in boxes and giving the possibility of being armed dry and quickly. This Hammam can be mounted anywhere since it considers the existing slope in its modulation, also considers the integration with the local architecture from the colors, since the sandwich panels being its main structure, these have the quality to be able to be painted at ease to achieve a relationship with the colors of the valley.
