HOTSPOT
HOTSPOT:
a sociable place, understood by island culture as a meeting place. Outer swimming pools warmed up by the own essential energy of the earth. There will be capable to attract a big number of people, either islands or touristic visitors.

THE SITUATION:
We are situated in front of a lake, with our back towards a huge part of the city of Reikjavik and its tiny and short gabled constructions with bearing structure of wood and concrete framework.

THE GREAT STRUCTURE:
Its propose a huge structure that, supported on the existing structure in the plot, manages the space, either for the program of hotspot than for all types of activities propose by the city. A structure that will partially cover the swimming pools and will define the front view of the lew. At the same time will be use as a raised platform to offer to the visitor a view of the lake from a superior level, taking advantage of the slope of the plot.

THE SQUARE:
there will be important the creation of a square in the superior level of access that will manage the access road to the facilities but gifting once more a useful space to the city.​
