INTERSPACE
This project seeks to capture the sense of space -created by grouping together a number of garden clips- in a series of interconnected dwellings. The main challenge was finding a way to inhabit elongated slice-like spaces with curved irregularities, resulting in a sinuous exterior and a versatile interior with modular living and a mobile roof. The overhead panels provide ventilation and lighting even for the lowest floors, perfectly suiting Brasilia's stable climate. Access to the residences occurs via a series of pleasant open air walkways that make use of the empty interstitial spaces. Additionally, the building is elevated by a series of pillars, leaving a space for enjoyable transit and community life. Overall, INTERSPACE aims to create private and functional living spaces within a well-interconnected system.
