Iterative process
The present project is a merge of processes developed collectively and individually,
through graphical and physical operations.
During the course, I’ve elaborated several proposals in multiple scales and languages.

I started designing a large irregular and rocky territory with excavated cave-like spaces that connected through digital collective plans and physical models to create a large macro-territory.

I continued by creating a tower formed by an inclined center stem and several horizontal platforms with variable lengths, including mobile modules that allow to distinguish between private and collective space. On it, I explore the relationship between heavy and light elements.

Afterwards, inspired by cane architecture, I specified one of the house modules formed by crossed arches that support a permeable and tense net with solid uni-functional modules.

These elements together gave birth to a single bigger composition of households distributed through a tower and a horizontal base; a project of greater architectural rigor and greater coherence.
In the plans I defined it as an arrangement of adapted, aerial, linear, tense and hanging elements.

Throughout all the course, I’ve worked with models, plans, sketches, texts, digital collages, interactive and collective boards as Miro, zoom conversations…
I’ve explored the manipulation of recycled materials like egg cartons and natural materials like non treated wood, wicker, gypsum, steel and textiles.

I’ve reached some achievements such as leaving away excessively pragmatic and fixated ideas by allowing new methods and inspirations to take place in the working procedures.
Developing iterative processes by reinterpreting my own work.
Creating with external references of any kind, shared through Miro.
Mixing the projects of my classmates in digital collages to give birth to new, different and unexpected results.

Definitely repetition, change, sequence, exploration, and above all collaboration have enabled me to discover new creative and generative methods for the development and materialization of ideas.
