The project imitates the parts of a river. On one hand, we find the stones that sit in the botton of the river and define its route. The stones have been laying at the bottom for thousands of years: a "geological time".
On the other hand, the flow of water is constant, fast and incessant, as our society. Nothing remains: a "liquid time".

In the project, "geological time" is translated into huge underground voids. However, the fluidity of the river's “liquid time” has more to do with the stereotomic part of the building. The structure works as a support for the different ephemeral activities of the city. While the huge underground voids always remain.
