Manhattan Maze
The project presents its main objective, to duplicate the available Central Park surface, by following a strategy based on the design of a modular structure. This structure pretends to shape a three-dimensional graticule, following the American idea of dividing the area in a large organized grid.
The graticule is shaped by both linear elements and knots. These are, in turn, created by prismatic galleries whose walls are made by rambling structures, so that they provide sustent while the light is still able to go through them.
