MICROmassive
MICROmassive is a project in which the northern extension of the city of Madrid is tackled
in a very different way from the ‘’Operación Castellana’’ DCN’s proposal. The latter is a
muscular response to the shattered identity of these northern areas of Madrid while the former
is a microsurgery operation that intends to solve the communication breakdown that hassles
this zone. For this reason, small objects that range from food trucks to bike racks are used
throughout a system that is tied down with a sports ring. Some major objects are also built in the
project such as vertical parking lots and bridges or passways.
