A look back in history gives us back a great amount of Architecture lessons, great quality spaces that still today can play a big role in the inception of a project.

With this aim, the project locates in a strategic site between the old town and the recent urban development of Cádiz. Here we propose a public space, willing to fill the lack of it in this part of the city. To that end, we retake a spatial system, learnt from all those monuments in Cadiz able to work as public spaces.

The proposal also includes a hotel, whose aim is to attract the tourists to this unknown part of the city. This way, a building makes possible the existence of the public square, by constructing this geometrical and dense shape and leaving in the interior the void open to the people.
