ATMOSPHERE
The project starts from an integration experiment between architecture and vegetation, making these a continuous and sinuous set that try to bring nature closer to the city.
A continuous fabric of patio houses is developed in the western part of the university city of Madrid, together with the Institute of Cultural Heritage of Spain. For the development of this, an analysis of the yurt house is carried out, selecting its geometry for its climatic and atmospheric capacities.
The project idea is based on generating continuous houses, raised above the ground in order to develop a continuation of the ‘Casa de Campo’ in the city.
The union of these strata provides the visual, climatic and typological qualities that give the whole a different atmosphere, detached from its integration in the city.
