I try to have an immersive experience when I travel. For me, vernacule architecture is a direct consequence of the demands a society considers as their own.
We can only understand it completely when we take into account the way of life of a certain territory. Architecture is another language in the cultural manifest of the people.
Same thing happens with cooking. Gastronomy responds to the specific factors of its location, its climate and ways of production of that area.
The idea of PAISAJE DEL GUSTO is born from this premise, a project that tries to unite the most important features of PASAIA.
PAISAJE DEL GUSTO is a touristic reclaim and important endowment to a certain location’s people. It’s a dynamic gastronomic market that, with its topography, generates a scenery that links the mountains with the sea. It is also a cooking school and a ludic space, where new architecture mixes with the old remembering its industrial past.
