Is time able to build architecture? Located in downtown Palermo, a city created by the mix of cultures over the centuries, the project intends to study the old ruins of Piazza San Niccolo and give them a second life by using the former walls to contain a residential space with a main element: patios. Inspired by traditional mediterranean housing strategies, these spaces destined for collective living include vegetation and water sources and they draw together interior and exterior, home and nature.
