PLAT_[FORMS]
AIR...
The project arises from the characteristics of the air, which rises when is heated and, as a fluid, has freedom of movement.
Regardless of the height of a space, a man will only inhabit the first two meters, however the air rises, the air moves in 3 dimensions…
How different would our way of living be if we could move as the air?
...LIGHT...
From the north and the east it will slide from skylights and through gaps in every floor.
From the south and the west it will enter through a glass dihedral.
In winter, when it is needed, it will enter more horizontal and in summer, when is more vertical in the hottest hours, it will be blocked with the overhang of the roof and even with the platforms conveniently placed.
...TEMPERATURE...
The typological difference of the building parts seeks to work with the air to condition the space.
In summer, the base, which is buried and has a lower temperature, cools the rest of the building that is set back to avoid direct sunlight.
In winter, the building receives sunlight through some deciduous trees and heats the air that rises to the upper tablet.
... MOBILE PLATFORMS
Inside there are 5 nucleus arranged in an "L" shape that opens to the views and creates common areas in the residual space.
They happen in height: kitchens and living room, bathrooms, workshops and rooms, adapting the light and the views to the needs of each space. These individual spaces are connected and complement with mobile platforms, where the student will spend most of the time. The way to inhabit this space therefore is based on a vertical movement, depending on the needs of the person. This space is now as versatile as the air.
