P.O.L.3.N.
P.O.L.E.N. is a proposal aimed at transforming the urban core into a space where nature and human life coexist harmoniously, providing residents with an oasis of tranquility amidst the bustling city. It converts an urban core into a more intimate environment from a synanthropic perspective, meaning it focuses on the coexistence between nature and human life in the already constructed environment. The main idea of the project is to generate a new lost natural landscape through human pollinators and the importation of natural elements to reconnect residents with nature and enhance the quality of life in the city.

The project is conceived in Plaza de España as a response to the need for revitalizing and reconfiguring an urban space with high levels of stress and population density. P.O.L.E.N. encompasses different scales from XS to XXL.

The project consists in the performance of the neighbors with the participation of the special pollinator suits we have design for any occasion. It is complemented with the construction of pollinating cabins which recolects the pollen from the suits and distributes it to the dispensing flowers along Plaza de España, Madrid.

On a larger scale, we intervene with two types of mantles designed for distinct living entities. One of these, the lightweight mantle, adorns the Riu facade as an extension of the ecosystem exclusively tailored for the invertebrate world. Conversely, the new landscape features a more rigid structure comprising genetically modified trees, within which invertebrates, animals, and humans coexist. The implementation of this ecosystem transformation takes place in the erstwhile desolate cityscape, now teeming with nature. Furthermore, this project dynamically adapts over time, responding to how it is
