"Ciudad Universitaria Science Park"
A technological space in a natural environment

The “Ciudad Universitaria Science Park” aims an intervention in a natural environment currently remote and lonely where the teaching activity is disorganized. The proposal generates a new focus of interest and attraction which allows to endow of greater potential and entity the “Ciudad Universitaria” of Madrid.
The project pretends to manipulate minimally the ground and make participant the vegetation in the set. The building is considerer as a minimal invasion space that raised on pillars allows the natural course of the nature, framed by a clear and rotund architecture that puts it in value. A green space with paths and ramps that open new views where enjoy, observe and feel the nature.
The architecture of courtyard brings the exterior and vegetation to us, comprising a building with spaces for knowledge, investigation, innovation and driving of new emerging companies, with an accessible program for professionals and public looking for enhance the technological and scientific development of the area.
The construction decisions of the project get the continuity and adaptation to the environment. A wide building of low height immersed in the vegetation which generates different routes renewing the public space of an unused and forgotten area.
