Superorganism
This project is a hybrid space, which combines three termite mounds with a space for man.
Here humans have the experience how they are born, how they live and how they communicate with each other, through noises, textures, spaces in twilight, different heights and visualization of these animals.
Humans can understand the different organs that organize space: the queen's chamber, the chamber in which larvae and nymphs are bred, the ventilation towers, the vaults that control the humidity of the environment, the cellars that keep the food generated in the mushroom gardens that they build with cellulose and the different accesses, which guard the soldier termites, to the galleries where the worker termites live.
In turn, the space itself serves as a support for the termite communities, build, excavate and mold their huge nests, solving the scale-up that this project supposes for them.
These epigeous nests function as authentic superorganisms with which they regulate the great temperature differences of the warm zones in which they live.
They combine environmental energy, architecture and air conditioning.
The termites need each other and need the termite nest to survive, they are eusocilae animals that live hierarchically and orderly.
