SYMBIOSIS
These projects are set in the archaeological site of Tiermes, in Soria.
Both are formed from the interaction between architecture and landscape and are substantiated by the abstraction of a spring.
The first project is based on a shelter for archaeologists studying the site. The structure settles in nature in a way that life happens in and out of the shelter.
The second project sets out a museum to exhibit archeological discoveries, composed again of springs. However, there is a new material, transparent walls, which introduce the concept of levitation and clearness. Due to this matter, an effect of buoyancy of the springs is reached. Besides, an impression of the whole pavilion floating over the land is created.
Everything integrates gently into nature and is noticed as a unified whole.
