Tetris Superblock
Tetris Superblock is a reinterpretation of Brasília’s superquadras. Inspired by that spirit, the project begins with an experimental model, where metal pieces are assembled like a game of Tetris to shape a modular housing system.
Following this playful logic, the residential units are configured as pieces that stack and shift, generating a dynamic and flexible volumetry. Each dwelling is conceived as an autonomous yet connected module, capable of adapting to different needs and orientations. The passing terraces act as habitable corridors that link the two bands of the complex, creating intermediate spaces for gathering, relaxation, and vegetation, evoking the relationship between architecture and environment that defined the original superquadras. In this way, domestic life extends beyond the interior, incorporating the idea of community and landscape at every level.
