TRAZZO
Trazo is a project that reimagines infrastructure as a sensory and ecological experience. It is a suspended spa bridge that spans the dramatic landscape of the Duero canyon through a light, tensioned structure that adapts to the terrain rather than dominating it.

The project is composed of several key elements:

Suspended Bridge: A subtle, tensioned line that connects the cliffs without the need for structural towers. The funicular is anchored directly into the mountain, allowing the bridge to act as the main axis of the project, supporting both circulation and thermal relaxation spaces.

Spa and Terraces: Two attached terraces serve as platforms for rest and thermal baths. These elevated spaces function as suspended viewpoints, offering a unique blend of wellness and immersion in the landscape.

Funicular: Located at one end of the bridge, it ensures gentle and accessible access from the upper level, reinforcing the contemplative rhythm of the journey.

Ecological Pathway: A descending path leads from the bridge down to the river. Over the years, it will be gradually colonized by lichen, revealing the passage of time and the slow transformation of the architecture through nature.

Main Access: Reached via the historic Requejo Bridge, where a stepped parking area with a green roof is located. This minimizes visual impact and enhances the integration of the intervention into the surrounding landscape.

Trazzo is a landscape suture — a line that connects rather than divides. It is architecture as trace, as sensitive footprint, blending with its surroundings while leaving space for time, nature, and the human body to unfold.
