VERTICAL RELATIONS
The project is located in the Arganzuela district, near the Segovia Bridge and Madrid Rio.
The proposal consists of a complex of volumes: a tall tower, an L-shaped basement and twin towers located on both sides of the street, which relate to the two existing towers located on the other side of the Segovia Bridge.
All areas can be reached from level 0, which is located at the plaza.
There are 5 different types of residential units in the towers: Hotels, Viviendas colectivas, Viviendas productivas, Residencias de estudiantes, residencias de ancianos.
Leisure and culture are distributed along the height of the towers according to the needs of the different residential units.
At the L-shaped basement are the party hall and sports center, 20 m and 24 m high, respectively.
The facade system varies according to the geographical orientation of the buildings. To the north and east, there is no sun protection.
To the south and east, on the other hand, there are different solar shading panels depending on whether it is a residential area or a common area of the tower.
The base of the towers is fully glazed or with opaque panels to create a uniform base throughout the building complex.
The final model shows in detail the structure and design of the facades, and how from the urban point of view all parts are connected by lift systems and underground passages that allow continuity in the fruition of spaces.
From the beginning, the project has had as its protagonist the human figure, which experiences, uses, traverses spaces and lives the encounter and relationship with the other.
