WATCHING OVER THE HORIZON : PIER 54
The proyect is based on a superposition of constructive methods that give a solution for the diferent requirements of the program.

Firstly, a base made of concret, heavy, where the serving spaces are located as well as those functions that need less widths and heights.

Secondly, a metal stucture , lighter, based on the Crown Hall designed by Mies van der Rohe, which releases the main floor to obtain better views of the surroundings.

Finaly, the pier is crowned by an pool placed on a platform that tends to the horizon.
