My project is a 100 meter long residential building, which combines two oposite geometries: curves on the facade and straight parallel lines on the plan. I have used a method of layers to design it. The layers are: structure, households, communications and facade.

The most characteristic features of the building are its vibrant geometry and the texture and materials.

In this project I have experimented with materials to give the effect of lightness, shine, movement and play with the shadow and the light. After try and error I have discovered that ironing certain types of plastic produces a traslucent leaf with a texture of bubbles. This material matched the aesthetic of the metalic structure and let the natural light in to the households.

Combining two oposite geometries on facade and plan, curves and straight parallel lines, was the hardest challenge of this project. Furthermore, making an habitable space with curved floor and cealing.
