Understanding the city through its interpretation: the cornice of Madrid is the city that rises in altitude, generating a natural wall, generating an urban elevation that is capable of identifying and being a symbol of the city. The work area is a privileged zone with a series of morphological and functional problems that make the place a unique design opportunity, right in the area where the city ends and the Manzanares river begins.

"Civitas Asssumpta" is a landscape reconfiguration of the area of the Cuesta de la Vega. Located on the cornice of Madrid and the ancient walls of Muslim and Christian origin. There are five pieces that relate to the topography by inserting themselves and creating staggered terraces. Finally, it culminates in a viewpoint, which takes us from the depths of the earth to the distant sky.
