Open-pit
The objective is the creation of an outdoor school in the city of Madrid, as a complementary building to the current Santamarca School.

The project aims to generate a sky of its own for primary school children, through the generation of a reticulated roof that gathers the entire enclosure.

Distributed on three levels, the complex is supported by three reinforced concrete columns that support the roof, from which the other two slabs are suspended by means of small-diameter tensors.

The spaces are organized in relation to three courtyards, where vegetation emerges and generates interesting spaces in the classrooms located on the upper floor, while the lower floor generates rooms of different heights that give dynamism to the complex.
