The Scaffolding Project
How far are 100 meters? The Scaffolding Project is based on the similarities and contrasts between this vertical and horizontal measurement.

We are precisely in the former Cuatro Caminos warehouse in Madrid. It is a place located within the center of Madrid where two buildings will emerge around a park. A grid based on artistic references is used to organize the room.

The goal is to connect the horizontal and vertical structures. Therefore, both buildings are constructed, composed, and generated using the 1.8 x 1.8 m module. It is a mechanism designed to provide uniform behavior across all buildings. with the potential to be prolonged, relocated, or, at any time, recycled.

The horizontal scaffolding is set up in accordance with the modules in various heights. It discusses how to express yourself using the full and the empty. Spaces that interact with the outside create a co-living style of life. As a result of the interblock communication, social relationships and a sense of community are created. The rooms, which come in two distinct models and sizes, are between them. The room for eating and cooking, the study area, and the smaller storage area. Through transparency brought on by the empty space, the interior aims to facilitate a fusion of the modules and the external.

A thin tower generates 100 vertical meters. The distributions and modes of living are adjusted to this new axis using the same construction system. Individual homes can be found in the highest area, allowing for more privacy and the option of housing families. Through co-living, the bottom zone is connected to the horizontal building. Establishing continuity. Through the use of modules, pathways, and staircases, the area is organized. Resulting in a height circulation. The co-living areas, as well as the interior modification of the residences, are adaptable to the needs of the occupants. Its volumetry can be increased or decreased.
